Left Hawaii...long flight..I am sitting at the Tokyo airport waiting for my flight to Manila. I miss Maui already. It is always so hard to leave. Maui has such a huge piece of my heart!
I never really cared too much to visit Japan but it is kind of cool to be here..even just at the airport. The technology here is so different from any places I have been before. I spent a long time in the bathroom pondering the toilet..haha. I was curious about all the options the toilet had to offer. What is the difference in the bidet and the shower buttons? I was too afraid to press them and find out..something about water spraying up at me from a public toilet freaks me out a little bit. I was intrigued enough however to try the button marked 'Flushing sound'..'For women only'..hmm. Sure enough, when pressd it justs makes the sound of a flushing toilet. What? Why? So many whys. Like why is that for women only? And who was the woman sitting around on the toilet one thinking.."man, I really wish I could have the sound of a flushing toilet without actually having to flush"?... Too funny!
Ok, enough about toilets.
Off to manila in about an hour...
